Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy outlines the refund and cancellation terms for all genetic test orders placed on the MyGenoRoot platform. Refund eligibility depends on the test category and stage of processing at the time of your cancellation request.

01 Refund Policy

Refund eligibility depends on the test category and stage of processing at the time of cancellation request.

Preventive Genomics Tests

Health & Wellness, Fitness & Nutrition, Beauty, Cardio, Medicine, Ancestry, Gut Biome, Aging Report

  • Cancel within 24 hours of ordering: full refund minus ₹1,000 processing fee
  • After the lab receives your sample: non-refundable
  • Kit must be returned unused for refund to be processed
  • If your sample fails our lab's quality check after collection:
    ›Sample fails visual check (e.g. damaged in transit): 100% refund
    ›Sample fails lab quality check (e.g. insufficient DNA yield): ₹1,500 deducted from refund
    ›Lab process fails for a valid technical reason: 50% refund
    ›Alternatively, you may choose resampling (a fresh kit sent to you) for a ₹500 fee instead of a refund
Clinical Genomics Tests

Whole Genome Sequencing, Whole Exome Sequencing, BRCA, NIPT, Cancer Panel, and all other clinical tests

  • Cancel within 2 hours of sample collection: ₹1,000 deducted from refund
  • Cancel within 24 hours of sample collection: ₹1,500 deducted from refund
  • After sample processing begins: non-refundable
  • If your sample fails our lab's quality check after collection:
    ›Sample fails visual check (e.g. damaged in transit): 100% refund
    ›Sample fails lab quality check (e.g. insufficient DNA yield): ₹1,500 deducted from refund
    ›Lab process fails for a valid technical reason: 50% refund
    ›Alternatively, you may choose resampling (a fresh kit sent to you) for a ₹500 fee instead of a refund
Combo Packages

Stay Young, Discover Yourself, Strength & Skin, Risk & Response, Longevity Blueprint, Complete Omics

  • The same refund rules as above apply per individual test included in the combo
  • If one test in a combo has been processed, only the remaining eligible tests may be refunded
02 Shipping & Delivery
  • Test kits are delivered within 2–3 business days across India after order confirmation
  • The customer is responsible for collecting the sample and returning it to the lab after collection
  • A prepaid courier return label is included in the kit for easy sample return
  • MyGenoRoot is not liable for delays caused by courier services or incorrect address information provided by the customer
  • Samples must be collected and sent back to the lab within 6 months of receiving your kit. Kits not returned within this window cannot be processed, and no refund will be issued for expired kits.
